Photographers love the palce for the extraordinary shots of this natural site that is probably the most famous in Thailand they can take from up there.

Because yes, do not expect to be alone if you go there ! Samed Nang She currently receives over 200 visitors on weekdays and 1,000 on weekends with kilometers of traffic.

The most popular times to go are sunrise and sunset.

The entrance to the site costs 30 bahts for Thais and 50 bahts for foreigners (it is free for children). According to our information, you can even rent tents and spend the night to photograph the Phang Nga Bay under the stars (130 THB per tent and 400 THB tent with breakfast).

The name “Samed Nang Chee” is derived from a local tale telling the story of a nun (nang chee) who lived on the hill. She had to bend her dress when she walked on a canal to meet a monk living on another hill.
