Free concerts : Bangkok Jazz Night by the River (25-26 December)
It’s Christmas, it is the time to make gifts. Jazz lovers can attend free concerts in Bangkok on 25-26 December.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is preparing to organize the Bangkok Jazz Night by the River for the second consecutive year in Santichaiprakarn park overlooking the majestic Chao Phraya River (Phra Arthit Road) on 25 and 26 December 2015.
Mr Yuthasak Supasorn, Governor of the TAT is pleased to renew this event because “the huge success of last year’s event had the Bangkok Jazz Night by the River one of the biggest musical events Thailand in its genre. “
And this year, the TAT will organize an even bigger event with a long list of well-known jazz musicians from around the world and a large number of Thai groups and Thai jazz singers.
The concerts will take place on the Pavilion stage and the Chao Phraya stage with different styles of jazz music performances. TAT will also organize tourist areas to showcase the cultures and traditions of various parts of the country and to promote the tourist attractions in the kingdom through interactive exhibits.
here are some of the musiciains participating to the event: Jonathan Fritzen featuring Camila Lundstedt, Juliana Da Silva, the Thailand International Jazz Summit led by Jeremy Monteiro, Shawn Kelly – a world-renowned drummer, Ami Nakazono – saxophonist Japan, and Benny Golbin – a saxophonist the United States.
And for Thai Artists: Koh Mr Saxman, Viyada Komarakul, Paiboonkiat Kiewkaew Pun, Bangkok Connection, Autobahn, Voice & Sunny Trio Jazz Party bands, and many others.
The concerts will take place from 17.30 to 22.00. Admission is free for all visitors.
