Bangkok skytrain will start servioce 45 minutes earlier

From March 1st, BTS, Bangkok Skytrain will start service 45 minutes earlier.

Sukhumvit Line will start from Mo Chit and Bearing stations at 5:15 am while Silom Line will start from  National Stadium and Bang Wa at 05:30 am.

“As many passengers have requested that the BTS should start the service before 6am, we have decided to answer the demands and convenience our passengers” said Surapong Loranya , director of Bangkok Mass Transit System Public Co. Ltd. He also announced that in six months an evaluation will be conducted to determine the best strategy to begin the trains service.

But if the trains will run earlier, stations ticket offices will keep their current schedules and be open from 6 am only. Passengers who want to recharge their Rabbit Cards or change money will have to wait until 6 am.
