While Valentine’s Day approaching, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) said its ambition to make the country the first romantic destination in the world. Whether for a beautiful honeymoon, engagement or unusual wedding, the Land of Smiles is appealing. Quick overview of what TAT offers for the occasion.

In 2000, the Guinness World Records recognised it as “The World’s Largest Underwater Wedding Ceremony.” – 10 to 12 February. - Elephant-back Wedding Ceremony in Surin
One of the most outstanding Thai ways to get married. It is called the “Sut Tae Ritual” and can be experienced at the Elephant Study Center of Surin – 14 February - February Festival of Love in Suphan Buri
The festival of Love is held at the city’s Central Gardens in Suphan Buri. During the event, visitors will be able to enjoy the Red Valentine rose garden a venue for either wedding or engagement parties – until 15 February - Wedding ceremony at the Red Lotus Sea in Udon Thani province
